Hand selected Cul de Canard (CDC) feathers by experts at Nature’s Spirit for the highest quality. CDC is a feather from near the duck’s preening gland. The feather's naturally water resistant oils and unique web structure have made CDC a favorite for tying dry fly and emerger patterns.
CDC can also be used on subsurface patterns to produce lively movement and a buggy look. The webby structure prevents feathers from sticking together when wet, making CDC an excellent collar material for nymphs.
