The PEAK Rotary Vise is designed with optimal tying efficiency and ease of adjustment and set-up in mind. We use a range of high-quality materials, chosen to last a lifetime, such as stainless steel, brass, and aircraft aluminum. Hardened and tempered tool steel jaws hold hooks securely, from size 2/0 down to the smallest you can buy.
Adjustments are accomplished with minimal effort. The large, stable pedestal base will hold this vise where you set it, and the non-marking feet protect any surface from scuffs and scrapes. The steel base is powder coated white for a durable surface that provides a backdrop you can easily see your materials against. The base also includes an integrated hook/bead pocket with rounded edges for ease of removal, and two accessory post mounting holes (accessory post not included).
When traveling, loosening a single set screw allows the vise to be removed, and the base is designed to pack flat. The rotation resistance adjustment screw provides infinite adjustment and is easily manipulated by right or left-handed tiers. A height and length adjustable bobbin cradle are supplied with the vise.

PEAK’s Accessory Shaft is a unique and very useful accessory. It provides a place to mount items such as a light or profile plate near your work area, but not directly on your vise. Compatible with both PEAK’s Pedestal Base and C-Clamp, the Accessory Shaft will accept any accessory designed to mount to a 3/8″ diameter shaft.

Reverse the lower rabbeted jaw to get a grip range from 2-1/4” to 11/16”. Jaws ride on precision guide rods, which hold the jaw faces parallel, meaning no rotating clamp screw to damage your table or work surface.
Adjusting the clamp is accomplished by utilizing the large, comfortable tri-lobal screw. The deep rabbeted jaw engages even rounded table edges, so your vise won’t rock or shake as you tie. You won’t find a more stable, versatile, or robust clamp, and it’s the only clamp that will accept our accessory post.

This unique C-Clamp from PEAK Fishing has a reversible lower jaw to allow for a wide clamping range of 11/16” to 2-1/4”, works with 3/8” shafts, and accepts the PEAK Accessory Shaft! Clamp jaws ride on two guide pins so the jaw faces always stay parallel. This design prevents the clamps from “walking” as it’s clamped so you don’t mar your table’s finish. Rabbeted clamp faces securely engage the table edge to prevent rocking while in use.

Here’s a useful accessory to help you stay organized and improve your fly-tying experience. No more looking for lost tools hidden under your materials, or that have rolled off on the floor. Hang your essential tools right next to your vise, out of the way, but there when you need them. Fits any 3/8″ shaft such as your PEAK Vise or PEAK Accessory Shaft.
These jaws undergo the same hardening and tempering process as Peak’s highly acclaimed standard jaw. Midge jaws are specifically profiled to allow more access to tie on smaller hooks.
Black oxide finish looks clean and reduces glare in the immediate area of your fly. PEAK MDG-1 Midge Jaws are for use with PEAK Rotary Vises. Not recommended for extended use with hook wires larger than a #16 dry fly hook.

The Odyssey Spider Cam fly tying vise is an entry-level model to Griffin’s family of true rotating vises. This vise meets Griffin’s high standard of quality. It’s design is similar to the standard Odyssey Spider, but the Odyssey Spider Cam has upgraded hardware including cam locking jaws to securely hold hook sizes from 28 to 4/0. Comes with a sturdy c-clamp and pedestal base for tying at home or on the go.

Nature’s Spirit’s travel bag is great for fly tying on the go, or storage in between tying sessions. An attractive design is complemented by all-around padding, sturdy carry handles, and an exterior zippered pocket for additional material or hook storage.
Inside you’ll find a full-width foam insert with cutouts for your vise pedestal base and storage of up to 20 spooled materials. Two inserts hold a large amount of fly tying materials, and additional inserts can be added for more capacity or organization (coming soon). There is even a dedicated section for your tools, with a protective cover that snaps in place. At PEAK, they were unhappy with other lighting solutions available on the market. Halogen lights become too hot and need to cool off before they can be put away, and worse yet, some could even result in burns if touched. Fluorescent sources were frequently not bright enough, produced off color light spectrums, were bulky, and the tubes are fragile.
To solve this, PEAK came up with the Portable Fly-Tying Light. The LED light source runs cool and provides a wide angle of light to illuminate your entire tying area with minimal power consumption. Even after a full day of tying, the housing remains cool to the touch; no need to worry about burning your hand if you accidentally touch your light. You also won’t feel the heat buildup in your tying area that you may from some light sources so tying will be safer and more comfortable.
The lamp provides a full spectrum white light that won’t skew the color properties of the material you’re working with. The bracket mounts to any PEAK vise stem, PEAK’s Accessory Shaft or other 3/8″ diameter vise stem and incorporates an integral tool holder. A 20” flexible gooseneck allows optimal positioning of the light source. The lightweight construction allows PEAK’s light to be easily transported. The wall transformer provided supplies 500 mA at 9VDC and is rated for 100 – 240 VAC at 47 – 63 Hz input.

PEAK’s unique straight coil design causes the spring coils to form an inverted “V”, resulting in a better experience than working with a conventional wrapped spring. PEAK’s straight coil has parallel slits which will hold your materials evenly and more securely. The PEAK Material Clip will fit 1/4″ diameter shafts. Clips will rotate to any angle needed, and multiple Material Clips can be used in tandem. PEAK’s Material Clip is provided with 2 sizes of coil to grip a wider range of materials better.
